Twice a year on baptism Sundays, in thanksgiving for the newly baptized and as a re-commitment to live out our baptismal vows, Community Ministries sponsors a sandwich build. All are invited to participate as we gather in the Parish Hall working together to assemble sandwiches for Clyde's Kitchen where each day 250-300 dinners at Crossroads are given sandwiches to take with them. St. Luke's makes about 3,000 sandwiches each time and anyone - from the youngest to the oldest - are welcome to participate.
On Pentecost 2020, St. Luke's held it first "virtual" Sandwich Build. Parishioners made sandwiches at home and brought them to the church for no-contact drop off. Community Ministries collected nearly 3,000 sandwiches!
