Thank you for chirping of the birds, the blossoming buds of flowers, and even the sheen of green pollen that greets us in the morning.
May they serve as constant reminders of the newness of life that is blooming all around us.
Awaken us to the nearness of your love and your call to us to not lose hope.
Forgive us when we succumb to fear, distrust and isolation.
Remind us that love and light are the greatest disinfectants to the fear that creeps into our souls and that nothing can separate us from your love.
Help us to open our hearts and minds to share that love abundantly.
In these times of the darkness of uncertainty, let us respond by opening our eyes, our hearts, and our hands to feel and experience how wide and deep God’s love is for all of his children, especially the suffering, afflicted, forgotten and most vulnerable.
May we do so without fear of scarcity.
Liberate us to reach out to one another, to share love, grace and our resources with abandon.
Help us to feel your ever-present calming love, and in turn enable us to love and live out loud, without limits; and, share generously overcoming distances.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
Today's prayer comes to us from Suganthi Simon.
