Personal Prayer Time
I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
Personal Prayer Time in the Nave Resumes at Noon on Tuesday, September 29.
St. Luke’s is delighted to invite you back into the Church for Personal Prayer Time in the Nave. The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta’s recently revised COVID-19 guidance now permits us to allow a limited time for small gatherings to pray in our Nave.
The next two sessions of Personal Prayer Time in the Nave are scheduled for Noon on Tuesday, September 29, and Thursday, October 1. The Nave will be open from Noon until 1 p.m. on both days for prayer and meditation.
Please realize this is not a full re-opening of the Church. Under the Diocese’s newly released rules we are limited in the time we can gather (one hour) and the number of us who may gather at any one time in the Nave (10 persons). Reservations will be required and all the safety precautions to which we have become accustomed - like wearing masks and social distancing - will still be required. The ushers will check your temperature at the door and asking you to use hand sanitizer before entering the Nave. You may enter the Nave but will be asked to sit only in pews marked as Reserved.
