Critical Need for Blood Donors!
While preparing for the pre-New Year's Eve blood drive, we were awakened to the continuing need for blood drives and the unique problems caused by the Pandemic. With schools and business still closed the Red Cross is hard pressed to find convenient places for blood donation. We want to help and want to celebrate healthcare workers and all other essential workers for all of the work they have done in the past year to help our community! Join St. Luke’s for a community blood drive in honor of essential workers on Tuesday, March 2, from 10-3! All donations are being tested for COVID-19 antibodies! Your donation will help sickle cell and cancer patients, mothers giving birth, victims of trauma, and potentially patients suffering from COVID-19!
The Red Cross will be in the Parish Hall and COVID-19 protocols will be followed to make it safe for volunteers, workers, and the Red Cross. Masks are required, and social distancing is enforced!
Unable to donate? Consider volunteering your time at the drive!
Spread the word, all are welcome!
