Caring for Creation Creates Better Buildings

St. Luke’s has been recognized by the City of Atlanta in the Better Buildings Challenge as a Top Performer for 2016 for water savings and energy savings. Parishioners Barry Bynum, Sue Sherrill, and Cotten Alston along with Facilities Manager Brian Hummel represented St. Luke’s at the award ceremony. The event was held at the College Football Hall of Fame. St. Luke’s is the only faith-based building that is a top performer and has been honored several times previously. Participation in the Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge is one of the ways that our parish lives into being good stewards of God’s gifts.
