The Training and Counseling Center
Click to view TACC websiteTACC is located on the St. Luke’s campus in the historic Gay house which was built in the 1890's. The Rev. Peter Thomas, ACPE Supervisor and Priest at St. Luke’s, started the counseling center in 1976 in response to parishioners’ desires for pastoral counseling resources within the auspices of their church. It soon became a 501c3 non-profit center which offers counseling and a pastoral clinical training program. TACC provides services to anyone who is an appropriate candidate for counseling on a sliding scale basis. While clients who pay full fee are welcome and needed, TACC’s non-profit status enables donors and foundations to give monies which support the large number of clients seen who are unable to pay for counseling.
