Health Ministries

This ministry is St. Luke’s response to the re-emerging understanding of the role congregations play in supporting whole person and congregational health. Health Ministry reclaims the historical roots of health and healing found in the early church.

Health Ministry Leadership Committee supports a number of programs and ministries.  Volunteers in our One 2 Another Ministry provide visitation, meals, transportation and other support to parishioners and their families coping with illness, life-changing events or transitions. Caring for You, Caring for Me is a support and education program for caregivers co-sponsored with TACC.  Other Health Ministry programs have included first-aid, baby-sitting and CPR courses as well as the annual flu shot campaign and parish-wide blood drive.
