Reading Together for Hope, Healing and Justice in the Psalms ... Psalms is the longest, and one of the most controversial, books of the Bible. From astounding praises (“His steadfast love endures forever,” Ps.136) to provocative questions (“My God my God, Why have you forsaken me?” Ps. 22), the Psalter speaks to the gambit of human emotions. Moving from lament to praise, we will explore individual psalms and find new ways of reading these works in and for a chaotic and troubled world. class will be led by Emmy Corey, a seminary student in the Anglican Studies program at Candler School of Theology. Parish Hall

The Gospel of John: Encountering Jesus through the imagery, characters, and stories of Judaism ... This class will study the text of the Gospel of John while looking closely at the author’s interpretation of Jesus’ life and mission through the lens of Jewish religious practice and hope. Led by Father Buddy Crawford. St. Luke Room
