Choirs for Children and Youth

Preparatory Choir

The Preparatory Choir is the first step in becoming a Chorister at St. Luke’s. In addition to learning our repertoire, singers learn important music skills such as reading pitches and rhythms and how to
properly use their voices for singing. They also learn about the importance of music as ministry, how to follow the service leaflet, and how to use the hymnals. The Preparatory Choir sings occasionally at
the 9 am service as well as other special services throughout the year. This choir for boys and girls K-2nd grade, practices on Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:00 pm in Room 109.
