 At St. Luke’s we seek to nurture each child’s spiritual development to enable his or her unique calling as a follower of Jesus Christ.   We believe that every child is born with an innate spirituality that can be encouraged and deepened through formal classroom experiences,  informal learning through service activities and worship.

Programs for children and their families include:

• Childcare by trained professionals on Sunday mornings & during most parish-wide events

• Sunday morning education and formation programs for children,  3 years old through fifth grade using Godly Play, the creed and service projects

• Programs for parents including playgroup for preschoolers, stay-at-home dads group and social gatherings.

• Sunday 2.0 -  weekly fellowship for the entire parish, includes dinner and programs designed for children and families, children's choir rehearsals and much, much more!

• Saturday Service opportunities each month for 3rd-5th graders

•  Children’s Chapel for children 3 years of age and older

• “1st  Sundays” - a monthly celebration of children and youth at the 9 AM Eucharist 

• VBS - Vacation Bible School - June 11-15

• Annual Parish Retreat at the Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, NC

• Special programs and events throughout the year celebrating major feast days (St. Nicholas, Ash Wednesday and Holy Week children's services)
