Children Sunday Mornings and Beyond…

 Sunday Morning

The Garden of Love and Learning

8:45 am -12:15 pm, Rooms 221-222

Quality care and faith formation is available every Sunday morning while parents are attending worship and/or an adult education class. The Garden accepts children from infants up to 5 years old.  Older children join their parents in worship or attend Sunday School from 10:15-11 on the 1st Floor.

 

Children's Chapel

9:00 a.m, Wilmer Chapel 


Children, preschool through elementary school meet in the Children’s chapel for a time of singing, storytelling and prayers.  Those children with red nametags join their families in the sanctuary for Holy Eucharist at the Peace. Children not going to Eucharist wear blue nametags and return to The Garden.

Children's  Sunday  School

10:15 - 11:00 a.m., First Floor Classrooms

During the school year, classes for children 4 years old through grade 5 are welcomed to "Reach for the STAR” on the First Floor.   We offer Godly Play for 1st-3rd grade and a special curriculum on the creed and service for 4th and 5th grade that culminates in the children leading worship on oneSunday in May.   

 

Parents of Little Ones

Monthly Playgroup on 2nd Wednesday and check calendar for special events

During the school year, parents with children under the age of 5 gather for fellowship.   Join the stay-at-home Dads group, monthly playgroup and quarterly social gatherings.  We also offer ministry opportunities like bringing meals, diaper drives and more.  Questions?  Contact on POLO leadership team - Susanna Roberts, Celia O'Keeffe, Shelly Guberman or Kate Dempsey.  

 

 

SUNDAY 2.0: upgrade your Sunday afternoon

4:00-7:00 pm

Sunday are getting even better at St. Luke's. A program for adults, children and youth.  Children & youth achoirs also meet during this time. The evening closes with Compline at 6:45 PM. Please make reservations for dinner. 

Childcare for children 5 years old and younger provided.

 

Special Events & Vacation Bible School

Join us for "Knowing Jesus" on June 11-15 for Vacation Bible School 2012. 

We offer a half day (9-12) and full day program (9-3:30 or 4 pm).  Cost is $35 for half day and $125 for full (includes lunch and off-campus trips)

We are our teaming up with St. Bart's this year, so spots will fill up fast. 

Watch for registrations online in Jan-Feb.
