St. Luke's is hiring:

Director of Education for Children, Youth, and Family Ministries

St. Luke’s seeks a Director of Education for Children, Youth and Family Ministries with creativity, energy and passion for the faith development of children throughout all stages of childhood: birth through the 12th grade.  The Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries will oversee our programs that guide, mentor, and educate children with the objective of creating a solid faith foundation in the Episcopal tradition.

St. Luke's, founded in 1864 and located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, is a vibrant community of 2000 parishioners representing 1000 households from all over the greater Atlanta community – all brought together to live out Christ’s presence in the city. St. Luke’s celebrates a long history of inspiring worship, Christian education in a supportive and diverse community and years of commitment to a variety of outreach ministries.

The successful candidate is well-organized, adept at multi-tasking, and has exceptional communication skills.  This is a position that requires relationship building with and among children, youth, their teachers, families, volunteers and newcomers.  The candidate will execute goals set forth for children and youth ministry through programming, small-group ministry, planned events, and year-round activities.  The position reports directly to the Associate Priest for Education. Candidates should submit a current resume and cover letter to careers@stlukesatlanta.org.
