Stewardship

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth and nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. - Matthew 6: 19-21.

Stewardship is the care and use of all that we have been given by God, which includes our money, talents and time.

Financial Stewardship
At St. Luke’s, we count on financial pledges to help us continue Christ’s work in our community. Financial gifts help us serve those in need, provide programs and services to our faith community, and maintain our facilities.

For more information on financial stewardship, please contact Michelle Jemmott.

Giving Time and Talents
Members of our parish give of their time and talents in numerous ways – serving as ushers and greeters for worship, Sunday School teachers, choir members, volunteers on mission projects, flower arrangers, the list goes on and on.

To learn more about ways to give of your time and talents, please call the front desk at the church at (404) 873-7600 and we will gladly send you a copy of our booklet, Join the Abundant Life of St. Luke’s.

Did you know...

...you can use your bank's "Bill Pay" to pay your St. Luke's pledge? Most major banks (including BoA, Wachovia, Washington Mutual, etc.) offer free on-line bill payment services. This is a very convenient service and, best of all, St. Luke's receives 100% of the payment amount.

(Please check your bank's fee schedule prior to making a pledge payment.)
